“That which you wove of lightest thread, I wear to honour stone”, for Ben Goldscheider (horn) and string quartet, has been co-commissioned by RTF with the North Yorkshire Moors Chamber Music Festival.
The title is drawn from Paul Celan’s poem “Totenhemd”, and the work is inspired by and will be presented in association with an installation by artist Caroline Burraway.
The premiere, given as part of the Festival’s programme The Creation, will take place on 13 August 2026 at St Hedda’s Church, Egton Bridge. Playing with Ben will be Benjamin Baker and Alexander Ruisi (Violins), Sascha Bota (Viola) and Jamie Walton (cello). Details here. (03/26)
